As a company, brand and a thriving business, we are continually implementing and adapting procedures, processes and operations to best protect our employees, partners and supply chain, as we all face the challenges imposed by the global pandemic, together. We continue to work at a normal capacity, closely following guidance from the Food Standards Agency, whilst focussing on hygiene processes to operate as safely as possible. Food manufacturers are required to implement and maintain hygiene procedures based on HACCP principles, standards we already followed prior to the outbreak as part of our quality assurance programmes and health and safety protocols. We are constantly reviewing our procedures based on all relevant food safety standards, and any changes to our standard protocols are being thoroughly documented, verified and monitored.
Food businesses play an important part in keeping our country operational, and to that end, our workforce is our business. We are supporting all of our staff, ensuring they are fit for work at all times whilst operating in or at our premises. All members of our team are following our fitness to work policy and understand the importance of food safety, protecting others and our reputation in the industry. The use of personal protective equipment is set out in our Food Safety Management System (FSMS) and is in line with your current health and safety at work policies. Social distance is being respected by all members of our team, and face masks are being provided to protect staff and products from any airborne risks. As a team and as a business, we are well drilled in hygiene protocols, food safety and preventative measures, and continue to work safely in the new normal.
